Monthly Meeting - Sunday, March 29th 2026

20 Carvers attended the March 2026 meeting
Novice Project:
John Harris was this months novice leader. His project was carving the original Labubu. Ed Ertel is Next months Novice Project Leader
Club Business:
Cheryl opened the meeting at noon.
Website $50 annually being developed. *Note: website started and needs many adjustments however, it is available to view for information at www.mysticcarversclub.com Link: Mystic Carvers Club Website Pictures need to have permissions obtained and size/shape adjusted, lots to be added.
Presentation: April 6th, Cheryl & Dennis will present information about the Mystic Carvers Club to the Mystic Rotary Club at Andiamo's Restaurant in Mystic. They will bring carvings & powerpoint.
Raffle: 50/50 Raffle won by Mystic Carver Member, Maureen - who was welcomed to the club. $42 to the club coffers.
Class Fees of $150 waived for Host of Stadtlander Class Instructor who will be supplying room and board likely to surpass the class fee. The Club will pay the $150 fee on the Host's behalf.

May 16th-17th - Bloomquist & Kaltenbach Instructors to give Wood Carving Seminar at the Beckish Senior Center in Columbia, CT
June 13th - 2nd Saturday in June - Carving Table at the Historical Society Museum in Lebanon, CT
June 26, 27, 28th - Stadtlander Instructor at Mystic Carvers Club at the Quiambaug Fire Company
August 30th - "Carve-In" sponsored by Mystic Carvers Club at the Quiambaug Fire Company in August. Other wood carving clubs invited to attend.
